Magical lights.
It’s my last 10 days in Canada and I figured I should be out, exploring last night. All my life, I’ve always dreamed of walking along long stretches of road, accompanied with soulful jazz music, beautiful christmas lights, nice warm tea and light snow fall. And I can’t believe it finally turned into reality last night. The holiday spirit, the decorations and the ambience though was really heartwarming that… it made me miss home even more. It reminded me of those times when i was about 6 or so, and mum and dad would always make a point to drive us by Orchard every year just to watch the decorative lights along that long stretch of road. We’d settle at Robinson’s for tea after cause back then, they always had the most fanciful light showcases there. I miss them sooo much and though it kills me to know the fact that i’ll be leaving this beautiful place real soon, I couldn’t find a better timing than to come back home now. 5 months away has been long enough. It’s about time I return home and be with the people I love.
